  Pre-Placement Screening and Testing

TESI prescreens all applicants to ensure that we interview and recruit only those who have proper computer training and who have the required previous work experience.  These applicants are then given various appropriate tests as indicated by their respective resumes and/or applications.

TESI uses a nationally recognized on-line testing service to ascertain the exact level of computer software competency. The on-line testing service offers a very comprehensive selection of software used for clerical, industrial and technical placements.

TESI offers additional training to applicants using Skill Check training software and Industrial Edge software.

Pre-employment screening consists of:
- Personal interview
- Verification of previous work history
- References from previous places of employment
- Statewide criminal background check for state(s) of residency
- Credential and/or license verification
- Credit Report (if applicable to placement)
- Motor Vehicle Report (if applicable to placement)
- Personal references (if applicable to placement)
- Drug testing

Testing Capabilities include:
- Checking, Filing and Coding
- General Math
- Business Math
- Accounting
- Business English (Vocabulary, Punctuation, Grammar Spelling)
- Color Blindness
- Computer Software (through nationally recognized on-line testing
xxservices)
- Dexterity
